#6 Students must vote during the 'Students' Election' because....

Poof!!!! Welcome back to Edifice N8... This week title is... Students must vote during the 'Students' Election' because.... Because, student have the right to select who or what kind of leader they want to have. Student must vote during 'Student Election' because, it is student's vote that will determine who among all the candidates that will lead all the students. This is important as one wrong vote, will lead to an unwanted leader. Student's leader should have the responsibility, the charisma and the X factor to ensure students do respect them. They must remember that, student's vote that make them a leader...

In order to vote during the 'Student Election', students must know a bit about who they want to vote.. This is due to be lead by the leader of our choice.. I bet students hate to be lead by someone they hate or dislike.. Make your choice on who will become the leader of yours... In order to live happily without stress in one student community, a true great leader should be chosen.. A leader that favored public, friendly, honest, fair and so on... This is the type of leader that everyone want.... So do vote for the best.... =)

#6 Bowling Technique

Hello friends, today next entry is about how to improve your bowling technique. There are 2 basic bowling actions that, when perfected, can turn your bowling game around that is your approach and swing. There are certain bowling skills used during each one of these actions. Consistently get those things right, and you will become a top-notch bowler.

The bowling approach involves 2 specific bowling techniques that is 'Stance' and 'Ball position'. The perfect stance sets you up for a perfect shot, and if your stance is off, your shot will be off too. In a correct stance, the knees will be slightly bent and the spine is angled forward. This leg position gives you the power needed to push off with strength and balance. Once the stance is right, focus on the position of your bowling ball. Basically this means how and where you hold the ball before beginning your swing. Generally, the ball is held about even with the waist during approach. Shorter people may want to hold the ball a bit higher to add some power to their swing.

The swing involves 4 additional bowling techniques that is 'Timing', 'Release' Rotation', and  'Finish'. Good timing is vital if you want to hit that 200-plus bowling average. When the timing is off, everything else is thrown off as well. Perfect timing leads right into when to release the bowling ball to get the perfect shot. For maximum control and accuracy, the ball should be released when your arm is at the very bottom of your swing. A good point of reference is to release your thumb from the ball when it is directly next to your ankle. Rotation of the bowling ball comes into play at the exact moment the ball is released from your grip. Rotating your fingers just as you let the ball go will create a nice hook as the ball glides into the pins. As you finish your swing, your arm should be pointing directly up at the ceiling. If you finish in this position, you will have put plenty of power into your swing to give it a high number of revolutions going down the bowling lane.

So, do you understand what I'm trying to tell you?. This is the best ways to make your bowling skills in a perfect mode. So, give it try my friend. Who knows this will improve your technique and increase your self-esteem...TQ..=D

#5 Great Leaders are not born, they are made

Let’s assume leadership means having an ability and desire to inspire and influence others. Based on that definition, I can certainly see the argument that leaders are born with leading qualities when I see my brother using her inherent ability to influence her little sister to do the things he wants them to do.

The point I’m making though is that frankly, not everyone has the talent to be a leader. No amount of theory, training or practice will give you the character, vision or presence to be a great leader. What often happens to those that try to become leaders without the talent to do so is that at best they become good managers, and at worst, they find themselves overwhelmed and failing dramatically, with no clear understanding of why. Failed leaders are the single biggest problem facing any organization, and they exist everywhere.

Most great leader are not made but they are born with the talent to be a great leader. Some example  that have a great talent to be a leader are Adolf Hitler, Tun Dr. Mahathir Mohamad, Mohandas Gandhi, Martin Luther King Jr. and the greatest leader in the whole world is Nabi Muhammad SAW.

For the conclusion, great leaders are born, they are not made. Everyone can be a leader but yet not a great leader. One's with the gifted talent, that's the one who will be the great leader... chaiyok2!!

#4 Malaysian Footballer

Hello everybody!!...miss us??..haha. Let's continue our discussion. Today blog entry is about "Malaysian's Footballer". What you think about our Malaysian's footballer?. Are they good enough?. From our opinion, our Malaysian's footballer is still at the average level and they only can play at the average level tournament. Do you know why Malaysian's footballer cannot stand at the same level as the other footballer player in the world?. From our research, their are three factors that involve. The three factor are self-preparation, discipline and strategy.

Now, let's talk about self-preparation. What in our mind is they are not fully prepared, their stamina and the performance is not at the fully stage. All this thing can be improved step by step and slowly so that the skill can keep increase and will take them to the high level tournament.

From our research, we can conclude that from the three factor that have been list out, the discipline is the major factor why the Malaysian's footballer is still at the average level. All of you think the same thing too?. The big problem that can we see is they not timely when practice time. They take this thing as the small matter and not realize that the time is the important thing to make them success because the time will change everything. With the short time, the experience of the player can increase, so they need to keep in their head to always timely in their practice.

The last factor is the strategy. All of you also can see when our Malaysian's footballer team be in action, they lack of strategy and their long and short pass is not too accurate. But we as the supporter need to keep support our Malaysian team so that they can increase their skill and strategy at the high level. Onward, when the strategy and skill increase, the self-esteem also increase.

That the three factor that our Malaysian team need to improve. But as we see the Malaysian team has a good improvement for example in 2010, Malaysia just won the Suzuki Cup and it is a good improvement from our country and will give them the high spirit to keep success so that they can compete in the high level tournament next time. Our hope, one day Malaysian' footballer team will enter the World Cup tournament, Insyaallah...=)

#4 Birth Order Trait

Do you know that we all have our own character? Psychologists claim that our birth order determines our character. Previous studies claim, among others, that:

  • the eldest child: more responsible, mature, often a perfectionist, a good leader, higher IQ, low self-esteem.
  • the middle child (any child born in between the eldest and the youngest): not an over achiever, creative, artistically inclined, often felt neglected, lack of direction.
  • the youngest child: often get away with anything, not independent, often not taken seriously.
Some of us are the eldest child.... Maybe some of us are the middle child and some of us are the youngest child... Do you guys agree for the statement?? For us, everyone was born along with their own character and one's character is not being determine whether they are the eldest, in the middle or the youngest...

Each and everyone of us have our own character that being gifted for us to live in this world. We are not saying that this claiming is totally wrong but it is not accurate.. We can also see that the youngest child in the family are more responsible than the eldest... We can see that the middle child have a greater and higher IQ than the eldest... Usually, the youngest child are the perfectionist as they are the last in the family... It is true that the eldest are more mature than the middle and the youngest, but we definitely can't say that one's character is determine through whether the eldest, the middle or the youngest.....

#3 "Do you think we should give monetary incentives to the KP2 students to motivate them to get better grades?"

Do you know what is KP2 students?. Firstly let me explain to you what is meaning by KP students. KP students which is the students that got the pointer below 2.00. While KP2 students are the students which got the pointer below 2.00 for the two semester consequently. I strongly disagree that monetary incentives help to motivate KP2 students for them to get a better grades. The reasons are to prevent them to enjoy, to give them awareness to study and to prevent more KP students will be born.

The first reason that the university should not give the KP2 students money is to prevent them to enjoy. This is because when their have more money, their will enjoy frequently. If their waste more time, their will not perform in their study and will remain as KP students. Their will hang out more and more with their friend rather than hang out with their books.

The next reason why the university should not give the KP2 students money is when they have money ,they will not have the awareness to study. They can't differentiate which is more important, knowledge or money. They didn't realize that knowledge lead to more money in the future. For example, if they fail now how would they get a better and nice job in the future??? How could they generate more money if they didn't have the knowledge???

The last reason why the university should not give the KP2 students money is the number of KP student will increase rapidly. This is because the students will feel happy to receive money when get KP results. So, more students intend to get KP results rather than getting dean list results in the future. When more students get KP results, the University will have a bad reputation.

The conclusion is, monetary incentives should not be given to KP2 students and it is not a good way to motivate them to get a better results. As a student, to get a better result, we should study smart and have awareness in ourselves. If the University really want to help the student, just help by encouraging them to strive for success. So, let strive for excellent.
